I feel like I've uncovered a secret. Found this by filtering for free point-and-click adventure games made with AI and was shocked by the quality and amount of content. I immediately liked the South Park style, the English TTS voiceovers, and the main characters Tom and Jenna (I think I've heard her voice somewhere!). The animations were great, especially the typing on keyboards—so funny. Thanks for providing the walkthrough; I had to use it several times. It would be nice to have more in-game hints, though, like when using wrong objects.
I encountered several bugs, especially in the alley section. And why are there sewers at all?! The creature ran in that direction, so I walked those passages for a long time before eventually releasing the possum there, which resulted in the game entering an unresponsive state. I also managed to obtain a second electric shocker after closing the metal door.
Again, fantastic work overall. It's clear a huge amount of love and effort went into this. It's a crime that this doesn't have more attention. For me it is a game of the year. Hope to see what you all create next!
The content of your post truly fills us with happiness.
We worked for a long time to create Beautiful Artificial Creatures, and we don't hide our disappointment in seeing how little attention it has received so far. The effort put into giving a unique personality to each character—through their dialogue and voice—and perfecting the hilarious dynamic between Tom and Jenna, was nothing short of enormous. We absolutely loved making this game, and we did it with very limited financial resources.
We will try to resolve the bugs you found as quickly as possible to ensure a better experience for all players.
Finally, we are genuinely thrilled that you enjoyed our game so much. We hope you'll be pleased to know that, as a little sneak peek, some of these characters—like small digital actors—will star in a new adventure. This new project will be completely unrelated to the events of Beautiful Artificial Creatures, but will be more ironic, funnier, and most importantly, much bigger than the current game.
